To Power Wash, we use a Deck Scrubber with a PSI of 4,000 to clean concrete at the highest possible pressure it can withstand, without creating a spiderweb effect. The high pressure opens up the pores of the concrete. Then, we apply the BASF Master Protect 400 Penetrating Sealer, which absorbs into the opened pores to penetrate the full depth of the concrete and provide lasting protection: 5-6 years compared to the average sealer's 1-2 years.
Exposed aggregate takes a specific enhancer/sealer called Browntone. This will give your exposed aggregate a new look and seal it for many years.

This is an exposed aggregate patio and driveway. It is not supposed to be light in color. Rather than looking decorative as intended, it looks like plain concrete with rocks in it.
The patio and driveway were power washed, and you can see where the Browntone is being applied. Browntone is an enhancer/sealer designed exclusively to treat exposed aggregate.
Here’s another view of the work in progress. You can clearly see the difference in the richness between the two areas.
The work is almost complete.
In addition to the Browntone, our crew also addressed existing expansion joints on the sidewalk that were in need of repair.

Here is the finished driveway. The bottom of the photo shows where the driveway meets the street. You can really see how much lighter and brighter the driveway looks!

A stamped concrete back patio we cleaned using a high pressure power washer. The final look is (2) coats of a Hi Gloss Sealer finish.
Here you can see how BASF Master Protect 400 Penetrating Sealer looked while being applied to a freshly power washed driveway. This sealer protects for five to six years compared to the average sealer lasting one or two years.
